The Refill Emporium is a Zero-Waste Shop & Greengrocers founded in 2020. We are based in Market Drayton, Shropshire and offer a full range of herbs, spices, beans, pulses, rice, pasta, dried fruits and cereals all package free.
The Refill Emporium is also a traditional greengrocers offering a huge selection of fresh produce, where possible single use packaging free.
We offer a range of liquid refills from shampoo to multi surface cleaner to laundry liquid.
Market Drayton Traders association is a ‘Community Interest Company’ (CIC). It aims to increase footfall in the town by encouraging and publicising local initiatives.
Dan Thomas of Refill Emporium on Cheshire street says “If every adult in Market Drayton spent just £5 per week in their local independent businesses instead of in chains it would be worth an extra £2.3 million per year to the local economy, which means more jobs, better facilities & a richer experience of our town centre.”
We have several projects in the pipeline such as a ShopLocal loyalty scheme, a monthly artisan producers’ market, a monthly walking market and a ‘Fiver Fest’ which is scheduled for June 12th – 26th.. The new website is online this month, thanks to funding from the Town Council ( www.marketdrayton.org.uk ). We hope this will become an online presence for Market Drayton, its businesses, and the community as a whole. See the new website for details of the next Fiver Fest – a nationwide initiative to encourage people to shop local (but not be put off by feeling they have to spend more than they would in a supermarket) – local traders will offer something special for just £5.00 – Feel free to browse around.
We have lots of amazing sweet and treat boxes available for collection and delivery in the local area.
We make and sell a range of products including smoked butter, black garlic, smoked garlic, vegan kimchi, olives, antipasti, sauces and much much more!!
We also have our bodega selling wines, gins, whisky, beers… none of which you will find in the supermarkets!
All of our products are hand made with the finest ingredients available.
We aim for a super low carbon footprint and we have sustainable packaging. We source our goods from ethical producers also. We offer FREE same day flower delivery within Market Drayton, making it easy for you to surprise someone special with fresh blooms. We also offer same day delivery when you order before 12pm to local surrounding towns and villages within 10 miles of our Market Drayton shop for a small fee. Fancy meeting us in person? You can also choose Click and Collect – simply order flowers online from our fabulous range and pick up from our florist shop at 18 Shropshire Street.
